The DaiHard MAX Double kit comes in gray or tan --- and a new clear option.

Daich Coatings has introduced a new version of the DaiHard MAX Industrial Strength Epoxy Floor Coating Kit. DaiHard MAX Industrial Strength Epoxy Floor Coating Double Kit offers expanded options for providing finishes to interior concrete floors.

“We’re adding a second gallon of epoxy floor coating to the DaiHard MAX Double kits,” said Peter Daich, president of Daich Coatings. “The price on these kits will only increase by $60 during our summer promotion, but we’re providing lots of options with that second gallon for people to truly customize and expand their flooring project.”

For individuals looking to finish off a large garage or basement floor, each gallon of the epoxy covers 250 sq. ft. of space. The DaiHard MAX Double kit comes in gray or tan --- and a new clear option. With two cans of the epoxy in the kit, people can now cover up to 500 sq. ft. of space. Decorative vinyl flakes are included in the kit, which may be sprinkled onto the wet surface in a uniform layer to create a slip-resistant floor.

Because Daich Coatings has received requests from consumers looking for a high gloss look on floors, the DaiHard MAX Double kit is also available with one gallon of grey or tan and one gallon of clear epoxy. To achieve a showroom-shine finish, individuals would first put down the colored option. Then, after an appropriate amount of drying time, they would add the clear coat. The decorative non-slip flakes are still an option to add.

“Feedback on the DaiHard MAX kit has been strong and positive,” said Daich. “We’re encouraged by the different requests received by consumers for customized versions of the kit. Now we’ve taken those ideas and enhanced the product line to meet everyone’s needs.”

The tough, industrial strength 100 percent solid epoxy floor coating in all versions of the DaiHard MAX kits offer resistance to hot tires, chemicals and daily wear. It also resists stains, cracking, fading, peeling, blistering, mold and mildew with applications for automotive centers, basements, garages and warehouses.

Both products have low VOCs and are waterproof. The hard gloss surface withstands constant auto and forklift traffic. The two-part epoxy formula can be applied by roller or application squeegee. It can cover bare concrete floors or smooth over previously coated floors. Decorative vinyl flakes are included in the kit.
